The session
Thirty minutes. One reframe you can use.
AI can draft the email, the deck and the talking points. Then a client pushes back or a colleague reframes the issue, and the script no longer fits. We’ll look at what happens in that moment, and what to do instead of reaching for a rehearsed answer.

Recognize your reaction.
Spot the moment your chest tightens or your mind jumps to the rehearsed answer, so the reaction doesn’t choose your next sentence for you.

Create space before responding.
Use a brief, credible pause, such as a clarifying question or a restatement, that buys you thinking time without looking unprepared.

Choose one deliberate response.
Say one clear, honest line that fits what was actually asked, and let the rest of the conversation follow from there.
